Home The Acoustic Connection, whose mandate is to foster and
encourage acoustic music, is proud to present this third
annual "Songs of the Salish Sea" tour in May, 2008, which
will include British Columbia's Gulf Islands, Vancouver
Island, and the mainland shore. "Songs of the Salish Sea", hosted by Saltspring Islanders
Kathy Stack, a fisher-poet, and yours
truly, Valdy, is a tour to celebrate
island culture in song, and to this end, we invite an
islander to join us for the entire tour, and when possible,
to have local islanders join us for a few songs from their
locale. This year Graham Wardrop, a
brilliant guitarist, songwriter and recording artist from
Christchurch on New Zealand's South Island, will again join
us for an expanded tour. Thank you for your attention, and thanks in advance for
the support you provide with facilitating and enjoying this
May's third annual "Songs of the Salish Sea."
